Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari is currently having a closed-door meeting with nine governors of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

This was disclosed by Buhari’s assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, on Thursday afternoon.

“President Muhammadu Buhari holds a closed-door meeting with nine governors of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the State House, Abuja. Governors of Imo, Zamfara, Ogun, Plateau, Ondo, Kebbi, Niger, Oyo and Nasarawa States,” Ahmed tweeted.

This may not be unconnected with the crisis rocking the primary elections of the APC in the listed states.

Addressing State House Correspondents after the meeting, Okorocha said the parley was to find solutions to the crisis trailing APC primaries in states.

” We came to review the various crises characterizing our primaries, especially the APC with a view to finding solution.
