FULL LIST: Aspirants cleared for APC governorship primaries

The All Progressives Congress has cleared the Kaduna state Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, his Kano and Kebbi States’ counterparts, Abdullahi Ganduje and Abubakar Bagudu respectively, to run as sole aspirants in Sunday’s APC governorship primaries.

This was contained in a statement signed by the acting National Publicity Secretary, Yekini Nabena, in Abuja, on Friday.

While El-Rufai and Ganduje had no challengers, Bagudu’s only challenger was disqualified.

Jigawa State Governor, Abubakar Badaru, has one challenger, Alhaji Hashim Ubale, to contend with.

The Katsina State Governor, Aminu Masari, has two challengers. Four aspirants will be slugging it out in Sokoto State,  while eight contestants will struggle with Governor Abdulaziz Yari’s anointed candidate in Zamfara State.

The party also made corrections to some names on the list it earlier made public.
